Easy Pineapple Angel Food Cake
Next time it’s your turn to take dessert, add a tropical twist to classic angel food cake and notch up the nutrition with a fruit topping. Just how easy it is to make can be our little secret!
1 (16 oz) package angel food cake mix
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 cups lite frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 cup sliced fresh fruit (such as fresh mixed berries)
Non-stick cooking spray
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pineapple (with juice). Mix until well blended. Pour batter into prepared 9x13 inch pan.
3. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool. Serve with whipped topping and fresh fruit on top.
