About Navin Kedia
Dr. Navin Kedia received his BS degree in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado and his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences. He completed Internal Medicine training at the Cleveland Clinic. He then relocated to Tucson to join the University of Arizona Cardiology Fellowship at the Sarver Heart Center. His interests include General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Invasive Cardiology.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kedia has continued to actively add to the medical sciences through his research endeavors. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. In addition, he has been invited to present his findings at the American College of Cardiology in 2002, the American Society of Echocardiography in 2005, and 2007, and the American Heart Association in 2008. Dr. Kedia is an Invasive Cardiologist. Prior to joining Carondelet Specialist Group, he was in practice at Southwest Heart and is the Medical Director for the Carondelet Telecardiology Program.

I have great respect and admiration for Dr. Kerdia. The quality of my treatment has exceeded my expectations and has been very successful providing drug therapy that has negated the need for a Pacemaker - I'm 80 and think that's outstanding. He's listened well to my complaints about my dizzinees and vertigo that is believe to be caused by the meds and taken steps to adjust the doses .. Though not entirely successful - we are working continually on this as we progress. I have a reasonable expectation that I won't need the Pacemaker and Dr Kedia is doing everything he can for this. Just don't let him retire or quit: I need him for another few years ...LOL.

Outstanding staff especially Dr K. I especially appreciated the open communication with my family. I felt I was in a good place. After extensive testing, it became apparent that I had an issue with my heart. Staff laid out what was causing my problem. They introduced the possibility of a pacemaker and how it would help me. After the device was implanted, I was amazed how much better I felt. My energy has easily doubled. Just a very satisfied patient. I look forward to working with Dr K. Dr. Kedia always talks in a way we fully understand. He is a humorous man who puts me and my wife at ease immediately. He introduced us to the persons who accompanied him. They included one medical student along with two college students who were considering the medical profession. They all seemed to work well together. The two office receptionists are equally efficient at welcoming patients and answering their questions upon arrival. They are also very good at scheduling patient's future appointments and handling their prescription needs. The nursing staff are both friendly and professional in guiding patients to the appropriate treatment rooms, taking their vital signs and completing patient questionnaires for the doctor.

What's with the 'scribe' - just for doctors comments / notes? Do they also write down the patients comments? Are they bonded? Background check? And - how much is that costing ME? It's just one more layer of cost to a doctor's visit. What cost layer is next?
