Justin Williams, MPAS, PA-C, is a Neurosurgical Hospitalist Physician Assistant for Western Neuro at Carondelet St. Joseph’s, and St. Mary’s Hospitals. He is devoted to providing quality neurosurgical care to the people of Southern Arizona. Justin is a Tucson native, who completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona in Neurological and Cognitive Science. He was a medical assistant at Western Neuro for three years before attending graduate school. He completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. During his time there, he completed a capstone project studying the efficacy of mobile stroke units. Outside of medicine he enjoys supporting local restaurants, rebuilding computers, and is an avid automotive enthusiast.

He was very friendly and knew about my case. He explained that my bruises and hematoma would likely resolve itself. And it did. He was sensitive to my concerns and as a precautionary measure referred for x-rays. But like he said, the bruises and hematoma healed and the x-rays were not necessary. He is very good.

Justin was very caring with my parents, who are 87 years old. He listened, spoke directly to my mom, answered all our questions. He then gave us the names of who to call if we have additional questions. Justin made us feel like we were his only appointment and did not rush us as we discussed the brain aneurysm. He explained all the options and helped us understand the MRI. Justin is very caring and appreciate the time he took with our family. Thank you!

Justin gave a thorough explanation of what was done and explained the what the CT Scan showed and then what steps would follow. I was already wearing a cardio monitor and taking a medication which is given to prevent strokes. I have an appointment with the surgeon in September to discuss my progress. Justin was my main contact prior to and after the procedure.

Great service. Was diagnosed with a Brain AVM 3 years ago/ Have had 8 Embolizations to date. AVN aooears to be gone. Glue has been injected after eace embosization.IQ, Intelligence, Speed, Weight, Balance, all improved ( back to normal)

A week after surgery I had some numbness on my left side. Called the office. Justin ordered a C-scan and saw me in the office the next morning. He looked at the film with me and reassured that am doing fine. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about my medical case.
