I like that the lab facility is adjacent to doctor offices. Wait time was negligible. Tonya reassured me that we would take one step at a time in assessing any changes from a year ago. Lab results and physician notes were provided in a very timely manner. Tonya followed up on my previous appointment in Dec when I had muscle spasms. She recommended and approved physical therapy then which made a big turn around for me.

Briefly, this was a request from my optometrist to see my doctor for a checkup and / or lab work concerning double vision like symptoms I had been experiencing. it was very difficult to get an appointment even being an established patient of dr Kermit Murray I actually was told to go to urgent care and due to the situation had to go to the emergency and then was still sick four days later and called my primary care and was seen by tonya it was frustrating to not be able to get an appointment when I was sick especially since I am an established patient and these symptoms have occurred before. I do like my dr Kermit Murray as well and tonya and really appreciate what they do for me but the ability to get and appointment is difficult even when needed.

As much as I respect Tonya Taylor as an NP, I plan to seek another medical group. On both visits to the River Road facility, I was extremely shocked and disappointed by the lack of Covid-19 safety protocols. On this February visit, one person in the waiting room was wearing his mask under his nose, and another casually sipped his iced coffee as if the waiting room was a coffee shop. Not a single staff member did anything to rectify the situation. Absolutely shocking.

I wear a reusable vogmask anytime I'm in a doctor's office or public place to reduce my risk of infection, so her having one on (whether it was for her protection or mine) made me feel good. Tonya Taylor, FNP is one of the best NP's I've encountered in quite some time; she listens to me and takes me seriously (nervous laugh and all) and I really appreciate the time and care she takes to find good referring physicians for me. As well as the time she takes to explain a lot of things that most Physician's won't. I don't feel like 'just another Medicare patient' with her.

Dr. Lynn Struthers is my PC Physician, but was out of the office for a few days. I elected to see the Nurse Practitioner, due to the severity of my pain. I have recommended Dr. Struthers to a handful of my friends. I've been seeing Tonya Taylor at Bears Path for a few years now and the staff is always friendly, efficient, and professional. I have sent several patients to seek their care from this office. Other offices for Corondelet are not as efficient but all of them are professional and friendly to work with. Over the past year I have had endless medical care, surgeries and therapies and Corondelet has really shown me they are the best choice for medicine. Good job. Keep it up.

Tonya recommended extra screenings, and checked on status of other screenings. She asked about meds, ok or not, and took good notes which were immediately available to me. I haven't had that experience previously, and like that I can see results as soon as available. I am very pleased with NP Taylor. She is thorough and listens to my concerns and responds in a straight forward manner and encourages input and feedback. During our conversation she commented on research material she reviews on an on-going basis. I am impressed that she pursues continuing education and research. I have worked as support staff in a clinic so I have a comparison in addition to my personal experience. I chose and continue to see my endocrinologist because in addition to his practice he teaches through the U of A and does research so I know he has the latest information on diagnosis and treatment.
